Annual Appeal

The Adult Day Center at Saint Mary Home is a community-based health and social program designed to meet the needs of adults who would benefit from a supportive, understanding, and therapeutic environment. It can also provide much-needed respite for family caregivers.

Participants enjoy socialization and participation during planned recreational activities with peers during the day while continuing to live in the community in their own home or with family. Certified by the Connecticut Association of Adult Day Centers, Saint Mary Home’s Adult Day Center operates as a Medical Model Program and includes the following services:

  • Nursing
  • Social work
  • Personal care and bathing
  • Therapeutic Recreational programs
  • Hot and cold meals
  • Physical, occupational, and speech Therapies
  • Monthly wellness checks
  • Respiratory assessments
  • Glucometer monitoringCAADS Member Logo 2
  • Assistance with weekly showers
  • Assistance with medications
  • Annual Flu Vaccines
  • Cognitive games
  • Daily physical activities
  • Weekly exercise class
  • Door-to-door transportation

Optional on-site services available:

  • Rehabilitative therapies

  • Dietary consultations
  • Medical consultations
  • Hairdressing
