Elizabeth Proffitt has been appointed Sales Counselor at The McAuley, West Hartford’s only Life Plan Community. Most recently, she served as director of sales & marketing for The Heritage of Green Hills in Shillington, PA, which achieved 95% occupancy under her leadership. She also has the experience of starting up her own home-based personal training business focused on physical fitness and nutrition for the senior population. Earlier in her career, she managed 82 health clubs for Bally Total Fitness’

The Mercy Community is proud to celebrate the anniversary of the opening of the first “House of Mercy” on September 24, 1827 in Dublin, Ireland with a full week of special events. Catherine McAuley, founder of the Sisters of Mercy, devoted her life to the poor, sick and uneducated, and today we continue her legacy of caring and compassion in the name of Mercy.
