Elizabeth Proffitt has been appointed Sales Counselor at The McAuley, West Hartford’s only Life Plan Community. Most recently, she served as director of sales & marketing for The Heritage of Green Hills in Shillington, PA, which achieved 95% occupancy under her leadership. She also has the experience of starting up her own home-based personal training business focused on physical fitness and nutrition for the senior population. Earlier in her career, she managed 82 health clubs for Bally Total Fitness’ mid-Atlantic Region. Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in Exercise Science and Sports Management from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

In her free time, Elizabeth loves to read and run. She is known for reading a book a week. In 2014, she achieved the goal of running a marathon in each state, and in March 2017, she completed her first 100-mile race.
